Drawn as I am, bone weary
by the plight of restless hearts
and the lovelorne unrequiem
which bursts forth, a song
of sorrow and wanting
the only satisfactory conclusion
is that this being, this fragile coil
is one destined for fruitless toil

All hope was dashed to fleeting
scattered bits of glittering sundry
like dust in the wind of millenium ends
I bear the child of bastardized beauty
and wish beyond prayer to find
that rarity in all minds

Farewell, fair weather friend,
I yearn to find something of integrity,
of certain valor in the unblemished
and uncompromising artistry
I crave a family that is free

Hmmm, that last verse,
I crave a family that is free
Reminds me so much of what Jesus Christ once said, something to the effect that his mother and brother etc. were not his family, but that everyone in the world was his family, all his brothers and sisters.
How I wish people would just GET THIS!

Ahh, yes, Tyler. We all yearn, at one time or
another, to "find something of integrity."
More often than not, I find it in the works of
genius poets like yourself.
The familiar lament of dual-career parents raising children is, "I just can't do it all." The Libra Solution provides an alternative - a more satisfying and sustainable work and life approach - to the overwrought modern day norm.
Let this coming of age story of a boy named Bean take you back to a simple time. Set in a small southern town in the 1960's, encircled by a river and gleaming white cotton fields.
