All Hail the Goddess

There she stands at five feet two
Tower of strength what else is new?

Picking up the pieces of her shattered life
Bravely overcoming discord and strife

Handling all her obstacles with such great ease
Never letting life bring her to her knees

Golden Brown hair, with  a smile that could kill
Everlasting beauty, that makes a man’s heart still

Sporting a petite, but voluptuous, frame
Constantly causing men to forget their own name

Her physical beauty, is but only one trait
Her intellect and spirit, are what make her great

With her brilliance and savvy, she takes command
Leaving her well-liked and, always in demand

Could there be such a woman, of sheer perfection?
Yes indeed, I regard her with utmost affection

I’ll impart just who she is, with not a single qualm
This deity, that I speak of, is none other than my Mom.
