Nobody Catches You © 2015 Sherry Bach New day, new year Change of heart Forget the fear Of being proud Pick it up, put it down Feel it good Hear the sound Truth is loud And I don't know why it takes so long For me to let go of what I want When you're not into me at all And I don't know why this one hurt It was totally expected scuffed out in the dirt As soon as you saw me fall You knew I wanted you I could have loved you all my life That was reason enough for you To embrace your foolish pride Save some face run and hide It's just what you do Cause nobody, nobody Catches you New girl, new scene Change the act Cut it clean Don't blink an eye Make her think it counts She feels it good Hears the sound Candy coated lie And she don't know why it takes so long To let go of what she wants You're not into her at all And she don't know why this one hurt It was totally expected scuffed out in the dirt As soon as you saw her fall You knew she wanted you She could have loved you all her life That was reason enough for you To embrace your foolish pride Save some face run and hide It's just what you do Cause nobody, nobody Catches you

There are far to many people like that. People of both sexes. I loved the line, candy coated lie. Nice write.

Some catch? Read like a loser and user, to me. I wouldn't even honor him with a poem. What has he got that others haven't? The ability to lie without a conscience.
