You can't touch it, but what you touch might bring it

You can't see it, but what you see might give it

The smell of the salt air near the ocean

Skiing down powder at Moonlight Basin

Holding your first born in your arms

All possess different reasons with different charms

Connected to each one of us by way of the heart

Do you feel it jump? Do you feel it start?

A special source that's not the same

It can be ignited with the sound of a name

When was the last time you let it in?

When was the last time you made it begin?

Amazed at it's make up and how much of the power

Can shift to one side from hour to hour

How life can snatch it and take it

At times making us all want to give up and fake it

But it seems that the more you try to find

Simple things, you're more likely to bind

Joy within a place that you can uncover

Whenever you need it, it's yours to discover
