There was a man named Smith. Smith was a gold panner sort to speak. He walked along the river of life, carrying a pan with which he used to pick up shinny gold nuggets when he spotted them. Smith was a happy guy. Shinny gold nuggets made him smile. There was one slight problem though with Smith's gold panning method…instead of bending at the knees, keeping his back straight and the gold pan straight, he bent over at the waist when he wanted to pick up another gold nugget. He did not pay attention to the gold pan and the shinny nuggets that he had already picked up. No! He was more interested in the new shinny nugget sparkling in the clear mountain water. Every time Smith reached for a new golden nugget, the gold pan went sideways, and most of the contents fell out, back into the river. After all, gravity is gravity! Either Smith did not value the golden nuggets enough to care, or he was too ignorant to realize that his method was not getting him anywhere.
