Temptation hanging within my reach

Just touch it one time and see

Colorful lights and the pleasure it brings

Hold the answer to everything

I must beware if the truth is a lie

That I cannot ever tell

Til it's too late and what's been done

Makes me feel like I'm under a spell

Project it out, look at the outcome

Before it ever arrives

To keep me safe within the boundaries

And clarity within my eyes

Oh! But to love you just for a moment

Would be so sweet indeed

It steals my focus, clouds my view

Until I cannot be freed

I run the scenes through my mind

Winding up back at the start

To where you first looked at me

In that moment you stole my heart
