Bright light, telling me what’s right
Blue beam, flowing like a silent stream
Stranded ship, echoes of an ancient whip
Strange crew, aliens to name just a few
A distant race, from the edge of outer space
Message of concord, a universal intergalactic accord
Communication with human mind, an unusual interstellar find
Lessons of peace and hope, straight from the ancestral pope
Passed to generation and on, so children could avoid the con
The human being now stronger, able to fight evil longer
The extraterrestrials who gleam, just downloaded in my dream
