As I stroll through the green meadows

life seems to slow its pace

the pouring rain hath just stopped

gracing earth with streams on its face



The mountains there so high and mighty

seem to say the truth of life

lest we brave the odds of the day

we suffer in loss and fail to thrive



From the lazing river to the daffodils

the misty morn to the chirping birds

nature speaks the mystic tongue

of beauty and unspoken words



Like the twinkling eyes of the shy girl

that speak her thoughts to her dear lover

no word no action ever they need

yet love cherishes in their minds forever



So does nature with all its flavor

speaks to me in the words unspoken

let me rest on thy lap O’ nature

for eternity is with thee unshaken
