I See Before Me is a poem of imagery.

I see before me,
a tree of color,
standing proud
by his neighbor.


I see before me,
many different trees
leaves holding,
with greens, yellows,
oranges, and browns.


I see before me,
our future,
the blacks, the browns,
and the yellows.


A forest of people
blending, caring, and
at peace.


I see before me,
many trees,
many hearts,
and many faces.


I see before me,
one nation,
The United States
of America.
