Everyone leaves, and I’m left with the pain.
It creeps in my soul
Pushing all hope and love and enjoyment aside.
I am a wreck, a shadow of someone who was once great.
I laughed and joked, loved and embraced.
Life takes it all away. It gives and takes.
It feels like it just takes from me,
Slowly leeching all hope and love and enjoyment out.
If you love me, or think you do.

This was painful to read, and reads like a cry for help. If not already, I strongly urge you to get help dealing with your grief. We lost twin boys that were born extremely premature. That was over 38 years ago, and I can tell you it still hurts, but it does get better.
