This piece was written following an e-mail that I had gotten which told of a post office that is being sued over a poster that is displayed inside. The poster bears the phrase: In God We Trust.
In God we trust our daily life
He gets us through all the strife
In God we trust a healthy child
He calms the seas for a journey mild
In God we trust another day
Were is not for Him we would not pray
In God we trust that beautiful smile
He gives the strength for another mile
In God we trust our next drawn breath
Forever with us until our deaths
In God we trust is always there
He is the reason we all care
In God we trust someone to love
Sent to us from Him above
In God we’ll trust our souls one day
Until that time to Him we’ll pray
"he is the reason we all care"
well that says it all no?

Excellent poem hun.. its a sad world we live in when people can be so threatened by the mere sight of the word God. Or is it the greed of money thats got their attention..
