A Life Spent A life spent with no one to share things with Is a life spent in waste and a life spent in tears A life spent in distrust is more than a myth It is a life time spent of nothing but fears A life spent in sadness and no one to care Is a life spent in solitude and a life in disrepair A life spent alone with nothing to share Is a life spent grieving for someone to hold dear A life spent in silence, always holding back Is a life spent alone because there is no where to start A life spent in darkness, all completely black Is a life spent in safety, and that�s the best part Shirley Ann Parkerson � 2002
