A poetic reflection on the first day of seminary classes, the first day of my last year at the seminary, which was yesterday... __________________________________________
Today is the first day the rest of my life Who knows what the future may bring, what dreams may come Everything changes and yet life goes on the planets in their courses and this earth our island home remains beneath us People will come and go as people often do we say goodbye we miss them and soon there are new ones we will say goodbye to them too, one day New students and old new faces and old Life goes on who knows where? We will find out soon enough.

A bittersweet reflection, indeed. Yes, Father Kurt, there will be good byes, new faces and new experiences as long as we're on this earth plane. We can only hope that we live, love and learn, well!
