The news hit me
right in the face,
She told the news,
and give an embrace.

The doctor said,
I didn't have long,
he told me we could treat it,
smile and stay strong.

She sat me down,
on the bed beside her,
their going to give me treatments,
if they will work their not sure.

I looked at her face,
she had no worry at all,
I was in shock,
 I just looked at the wall.

This couldn't be true ,
the news is not right
it should be me ,
lying here tonight.

You are suppose to take my kids
when its time for me to go,
please don't leave me now,
I need you don't ya know.

She smiled and said,
It sure changed out plans,
looking in my eyes,
she took my hands

I've not left yet,
I'm still right here.
when ever you need me,
I'll always be near.

If God shall call,
another angel home,
I'm sure she will be beside him
on that golden thrown.

Heaven will be richer,
with you there in the crowd
just knowing your my sister,
makes me very proud.
