Stars on strings, They just won’t let me go. Midnight is dancing with such pretty things, Weaving through the labyrinth of their spell. Nothing but strangers in a dream. The sliver of moonlight, Peeking in... A small and unassuming feeling, A submission of fright, While so close to a king. Pale and soft, Just the same... Beautiful but scared, The face without a name. Who knew she’d win their little game? Too real to be imagining... Still had a way to fall. All the way back to the beginning, But that’s the hope of a fool’s heart. Wasn’t really fair at all...

A beautiful set of images each verse changing and evolving with it's message of over confidence leading to a fall. Then again the last giving hope that maybe all is not lost afterall. Well done.
