Like weathered glass in the silver of the brine..
Beautiful and nearly invisible like the lady,
As they crush beneath his feet…
Mariah when I read this for some reason it was so well done and with such a bittersweet sadness in the folds between the lines it made me think for a moment about your mother who was also one of the great writers of the den. I hope all is well with you both and hope your heart and your words will continue to grace our den for a long time to come.

Quite a deeply written poem. So much but I am feeling abuse of a very sad nature. If only the abused could leave it all behind, that would be a redeeming thought.
