This is a fun, seasonal poem.

 October 31

Fake spider webs decorate
many garages and doors
Dracula's, Frankenstein's
pumpkin pictures galore

Gray headstones appear
on lawns everywhere
Women are wearing
blue, orange or red hair

Children in silly costumes
masks, hats on their heads
spooky records play
for participants to dread

Large, picture covered bags
plastic pumpkins, pillowcases
will fill with Tootsie Rolls
Smartees, apples, Milky Ways
