I guess you had to learn to sit where the wind would not flow campfire ashes into your eyes. ;-)
You brought back memories of my many days fishing and joining my parents at their cottage in the Wisconsin Northwoods. For those who have not tasted walleye or their pan fish smaller relatives, freshwater perch, I would like to tell them that it is one of the finest tasting fish in the world. And even better when caught fresh and fried in butter on a campfire in the morning for breakfast.
And good memories they are too Bump. We've had oodles of similar experiences here as well. We love the woods mountains and lakes, campfires, and fresh caught pan-roasted fish. Can't get much better than that. Thanks for sharing.
