Rain of Toxic Terror

Every day, it seems, we learn about new wonders cooked up by the modern Frankensteins in their labs. But what of the consequences...?

Carcinogens here, carcinogens there.
Insidious fleshmines inhaled with the air.
They settle in delicate tissues, and so
explode into Death after decades below.

Mutated hormones injected in kine:
great steaks (and side effects way down the line).
Bio-tech bacon for breakfast by Mommy;
chemical war via lunchmeat salami.

Planeloads of pesticides sprayed from the sky.
Sperms which are crooked, swim backwards, and die.
Chemi-cholesterol, synthetic fats;
two-headed chickens and green glowing cats.

Cars by the millions en route to the mall,
gasoline flatulence smothering all.
Soot from the stacks of our cyanide plant
help us maintain that carcinogen slant.

Carcinogens high, carcinogens low.
There is no escape. It's too late, doncha know?
The worst oxymoron that I've ever heard:
"Clean Living".

Now honestly, ain't that absurd?

LW

Yeah...pretty absurd! Thought provoking. We are all mutated in one way or another. Life as we used to know it doesn't exist anymore.

Peace,
Dayvid

In the Whirlwind by Tichaona Chinyelu

In the Whirlwind is a poetic storm that frees history from the cages of corruption and puts it in the hands of everyday people. Words are weaved into a new fashion statement that has nothing to do with runways but everything to do with projects!
