Mother Nature tosses

And turns

As she sleeps in the

full moon’s light.

Her arms flail causing

Winds to blow

And sweep the

Earthy canvas clean

In preparation for

The cleansing rains

That will prime

The canvas

For the painting

Of leaves and grass

And the bright colors

Of the flowers of spring.

Stir, movement and promise combine beautifully
and seamlessly here, Susan.
This is fine writing.

I know EXACTLY what you mean, Susan. My coastal heathland landscape is positively buzzing with this sense of breakthrough at the moment and the turf is literally springing beneath my feet. Fresh air feather-dusting is definitely MY kind of spring-cleaning! :)) xx
