The golden nugget
Born in a cave
At Anglysea, Wales
Sat in the Queen’s safe
Waiting patiently
For that special day
When he would
Be called upon
To submit to
Her royal command.
Suddenly her heard
The turn of the knob
And knew his time
Had come.
The young Prince
Had just become
Engaged.
She took him
From is resting place
And gifted him
To the young prince
A token to let
Him know she
Was pleased.
He was taken
To Wartski’s
Where he was
Pounded and bent
To a suitable shape.
The Prince’s younger
Brother slipped him
Into his pocket
That morning
And carried
Him t o that place
Where he would
Become one
With her.
Now the moment
Was here…
He was blessed
By the Priest
Taken by the
Prince and
Started
His final journey
To that place
Of honor.
It was love
At first sight
He hugged her
Finger so tight
The Prince had
Trouble pushing
Him onto her
Finger
But at last
He was home
In his final
Resting place,
His mission
Complete.
