Note; We have been on the 1/4 mile drag strip and collecting classic cars for 40 years. As our cars aged so did we, especially me. From brain surgery, joint replacement, to emergency surgery last year I will still keep on with my tune-ups, just like we do with our classics!

A TUNE-UP

Its 6:00 am, Lord, another day is here
and already my brain is in 2nd  gear !
The questions and answers have began their debate
"But I wanna' just sleep Lord"
"NO ! Get up or you're late !"

I've turned the key , now my motor is started
I'll let it warm up, just to move is getting harder
Yep, my crank has been turned and my oil has been changed
but my motors gaining mileage now
and she just won't run the same !

From the very beginning there's always been work
on my motor, my body, when it's wrecked or been hurt
Yet again it has broken and now my engine has stalled !
Is it my starter, is it my spark plugs
OR A COMPLETE OVERHAUL !

Then as I pause by the roadside
I can look back and I'll see
That the road has been a little rough
 on my body and on me
But I'll keep on with my "tune-up's"
as I cruise on through life
Because this model is a "CLASSIC"
She's a 'GRANDMOTHER " a 'WIFE'
