Poet, too many never appreciate what they have, and are always trying in vain to take what does not belong to them, which often causes unnecessary frustration and/or undermines ones attempt of leading or resembling some normalcy in ones sacred lifetime. Inspiring write.
Amen, "Z" your poetry says it all. For just to have a roof over our heads, children that love us and food on the table makes us already blessed a lot more than others. Thanks for reminding me of all the important things we all take for granted.
A further collection of poems, many from years in the Middle East, but also the California San Francisco and Central Coast areas (Santa Cruz, Carmel, Big Sur, Berkeley, etc.).
