Ego

Constant motion to keep the mind from thinking, remembering

Life must be an ever flowing stream of accomplishments both real and imagined to keep from revisiting the past

Ceaseless, endless days spent lazing under hot suns and brutal skies and they think...

And they survive amidst a purple haze of recognition from imaginary fans

So awed by fame and fortune that they do not see that the bitter pill that they continually swallow will be the very death of them

Bitter death suffered under the jagged blade of their own self importance

Thanks Andy, it's blokes like you that keep me coming back. Yes, some people do things that are just uncomprehensible to most of us "average folk"...awww well, I'd MUCH rather be average...least I can sleep at night!

Fame and Fortune is a trap, having tried to save my neighbours life a couple of hours ago, and a relative died this morning you realise to yourself, that the cacophony of twilight bird song, close family and the true friends, is real wealth. As is enjoying all nature...

One bloke said just weeks before he knew he was going to die, if he'd realised how short life was, he would not have wasted it on improving his golf game...

Intense look at the sin of over inflated egos run amok. In the grand scheme of things we all may play a part but they are mostly bit parts for sure.
