A lucid fool.
Those petty arguments between you two.
You're usually wrong, so just keep silent.
You'll work him up and he'll get violent.
He stay's with you, 'cause you're all he knows; and the kids. Can't forget the kids,
without him they wouldn't be.
They keep him striving to be the man he deserves to be.
You hold him back, but he doesn't care.
He's used to hearing your harsh words.
He begins to tare.
Your blue eyes reflect in his soul, sad situations; and the man's getting old.
Gray hair's take over his thin beard, and his eyes are full of regret.
He doesn't talk much and that makes you upset.
So even louder you become, your mouth is like a shooting gun.
Words fly out in every direction, a horrid truth that needs conviction.
So when he up and leaves one day, and you begin to cry: I'll show you no sympathy, because you broke a man who never asked... Why?
