Stop dwelling on the negative and do something different. Make a plan and set new goals, get out there and explore those things that bring you pleasure, but most importantly expand your horizons. Life is truly way too short. Don’t waste it!
I agree with your wisdom here....life is too short to spend it throwing negativity out into the universe....it only comes back to you...took me a lot of years to learn this invaluable life lesson!

this is really a beautiful poem,
The beautful lines are heart touching & motivational, which opens all the door of thinking of ones..its really gr8.
I love your article and your positive approach to life.
Many years ago I discovered Dr. Norman Vincent Peale's writings and have promoted my own positive thinking ever since then. I've come to believe that life, first, is one's state of mind, and we can choose to live in the confusion of negativism or we can choose the more peaceful and positive condition to live by.
Life is too short to focus on the negative!!! Park those thoughts that make you worry and create new goals to which you'll hurry. Excellent write! We have to face our demons to move on and try new things that might scare us. That is how we grow into something more. We can't be afraid to stand tall and explore it all. ~Chessly
I have been wanting to write about this very same topic for a few days now and finally this morning the words came to me. Good piece. Thanks for inspiring me. <3
A VERY TRUE AND ENCOURAGING MESSAGE. YOUR PHRASES OF INSPIRATION AND YOUR WELL DONE IMAGERY AND RHYME SCHEME MADE THIS A VERY ENJOYABLE READ. JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATION
This is an excellent poem.I always appreciate the littliest things that I have in my life.If people would just stop complaining about the most stupidest things that are irrelevant and start feeling more happy then their lives would be so much better.I enjoy reading it,take care
A beautiful poem with many inspiring words of wisdom, for life is very short...it seems when we are young we have all the time in the wold and a day seemed to last a week, today a day seems only as moments...wise words that we should live each day to the fullest and experience the unknown and expand our lives with creativity and life itself! Well done, enjoyed this much so glad I stopped by. I also needed to read this, especially the final stanza as it has been a rough week for me.
Blessings from Ky.

I wrote a poem similar to this one too. Yours comes from the heart too and has good advice too. Explore unknowns take chances well worth taken, do different each day. Tackle things that scare you. Do not be afraid to live. Mine is titled Life Waits for Noone. I say do what you want to do.
Wonderful encouragement to be found in this splendid write. We all need to be reminded from time to time - "Don't sweat the small stuff".
Thanks, Michael! Enjoyable read indeed!

amazingly acurare ! " live for today" is the message i recive while reading this! you've given me a very positive start to the day. thanking you kindly.
Amen to this injunction.
All too often we miss out on achieving our potential because of our fears (ungrounded) and lack of self - confidence. Moreover, the framework for us to fulfil our goals, ambitions, aims etc is indeed within that of a short, unpredictable lifespan.
Michael, this is so true and it's wonderful advice. There are far too many who dwell on the negative -- how sad their lives are so empty! Life really is too short, and there are so many positives to embrace. I enjoyed this very much!
Love,
CJ
I know what this poem speaks of. It all lies in the bones for me. I have a coyote skeleton lying near my prayer circle about 225 steps out my back door. The nights animals rearrange them and I visit in the morning to read the bones. Always new messages left for me to show me new pathways. Great write, Michael! All we can do is offer a positive thought. It is up to those to think positively and act accordingly.
Absolutely right with this most excellent piece...

Life is too short ..... wise words.
What how can we manage to overcome the depression that has caught us if things we hope and pray for don't work out?
Even if we try hard, we sometimes don't manage.
Great write.
Bravo! I love the challenge you give the reader to go out and grab life - try things new, face things that scare us.....it's just what we need to here - a truth that will last over the ages....fantastic!
