My friend worries about my soul, since
in the biblical sense; in the religious sense,
I cannot be saved.

This doesn't mean I cannot be saved.

And anyway, saved from what?
Since I don't believe in hell;
saved from nothing.

This doesn't mean there is no hell.

Still, I prefer to leave
my soul's fate in the hands of God
rather than in those of my friend.

This doesn't mean my soul is in better hands.

No one really knows what
the soul is made of, or if
it's connected to the body.

This doesn't mean you can't touch my soul.
