Speaking from recent personal experience, the purging of the hurt you feel may be what you need to reach your goals. If I hadn't gone through the crushing grief following the death of my mother I don't think I'd see my life the same way. In fact I know I wouldn't. Now each day feels like I'm a bit more awakened. I have been singing lately to my partner. One of the songs that comes up all the time is, "Please Release Me," by Engelbert Humperdinck. She finds it quite apropos, wanting to be purged of me. ;-) I think that old Engelbert was just trying to lose that name. ;-)
MY SON, WE WILL NEVER UNDERSTAND ALL THE THINGS GOD ALLOWS, BUT, '...ALL THINGS WORKS TOGETHER FOR GOOD TO THEM THAT LOVE GOD AND CALLED ACCORDING TO HIS PURPOSE...'
