THIS SHARING REMINDS ME OF THE SCRIPTURE, 'FOR GOD IS LOVE'. 'HATE' IS A VERY HARD WORD TO INGEST...IT IS THE DEPTHS OF 'LOATHING', INDEED, THAT WHICH WE SHOULD FEEL TOWARDS EVIL. I TOTALLY AGREE WITH THIS POST AS LONG AS WE REMEMBER TO 'HATE THE EVIL'...'BUT NOT THE PERSON'. FOR, HOW CAN WE SAY WE LOVE GOD WHO WE HAVE NEVER SEEN, BUT HATE THOSE WHO WE DO SEE? SO, UNDOUBTEDLY, THE 'TEST' IS IN LOVING THOSE WHO HAVEN'T LEARNED TO LOVE GOD...MORE THAN THEY LOVE THEMSELVES. AND WE REACH OUT TO THE BLIND BECOMING A ENSAMPLE OF GOD'S MARVELOUS LOVE THROUGH ARTISTIC WORKS LIKE ONE. ENJOYED THIS KEEPER. THANKS FOR SHARING, D.T. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...HIS+INSPIRATIONS
I can understand someone becoming angry. But be careful with hatred. Throughout our brief history we have found out, time and time again, that what we thought was evil, wasn't. The very God that everyone refers to as creating all things, created these evils that have turned out to be beneficial when scientifically examined.
Words are fine, but when they are carried out in an action like "cast away all that makes not prosper" may be "throwing out the baby with the bathwater."
Note: bathing was considered to be evil in medieval times. Louis XIV of France never bathed. Why the French love their perfume so much. In the spring when it was warm enough to heat water by firewood in a container. Father would bathe, mother would bathe, all the sisters and brothers would bathe. And the last, the baby, might get lost in the very dirty murky bathwater. Forgetting the baby when the water was cooled off enough to pour out, sometimes revealed the forgotten baby as it was thrown out with the bathwater.
