The coolness of the afternoon shade
mixed with the soft crocheted blanket
made by Grandma
a hill of fluffy pillows to get lost in and
soft music coming from the stereo
now drift away
going nowhere and everywhere
leaving your body behind
savoring the sweet peace of feeling
safe and comfortable
taking some time for myself
a sweet short vacation
recharging my battery

no phones
no noise
only the sound of the fan rotating
quietly overhead
enjoying the guilty pleasures
of my getaway vacation
a short,
but much needed,
nap....
