Las Horas Tardías

Las horas tardías
Son algo común entre nosotras
Tienen una melodía que les distingue,
Un sentimiento común de sueños perdidos
Y ojos soñolientos.

Las horas tardías están llenas de sonidos,
Balbuceos y llanto, lágrimas y sonrisas,
Nanas, susurros,
Y a veces oraciones,
Sollozos, soledad,
Dios.

Abrazando el momento
Me he encontrado a mi misma.
Maravillada por la criatura más hermosa que haya sido creada:
Un bebe muy pequeño,
Yo solo quise bañarlo de besos
Y mecerlo hasta que se durmiera.
Yo se que las horas tardías desaparecen
Como las nubes movidas por el viento.
Solo las memorias viven para siempre
en nuestros corazones.

Nuestro pequeño ha crecido
Y camina su propio viaje,
Nosotras nos quedamos a lo lejos...
Cuando el regrese
encontrará siempre nuestros brazos abiertos,
Y en nuestros corazones,
Una nana en silencio...
