My How Things Change, If you like to Read the ORIGINAL " DOWN In The MALL" You will see the difference, Think It's called competition.
Down in The Mall ( Revisited)
Down in the mall all is different today,
The jostling crowds no longer hold sway,
The voices are hushed there are no longer calls,
Voices just echo in the half empty halls,
The trolleys are quieter no longer stacked high,
In fact they’re half empty as they trundle by,
There’s more room on the benches for people to sit,
The Mall is half empty, that’s the truth of it,
Just a few lonely men waiting for wives,
Sitting on benches with downcast eyes,
Just what has happened to bring this about,
Something drastic has happened no doubt,
So I asked a few questions to find out the cause,
From a few of the people that came through the doors,
The answer I got caused me sadly to sigh,
There’s a brand new bulk warehouse opened up just nearby.

Dollar stores are having similiar affects. Great write.
You had me there, John, but that will do it, those bulk places can really make it hard on the malls as well as WalMarts, I hear...interesting write, makes one think, but what can be done, if anything, or if anyone is interested...enjoyed and got sucked in, I like that in anything philosophical...Peace, Ed & Rufuz (w00f)
