addicted
obsessed
like a deliriously devoted
child is to a pet

coffee, coffee
i can smell the way you taste

morning, afternoon
night...midnight...rain or shine
i crave
so desperately
for that taste i can smell

coffee, coffee
forgive o bitter one but
you've found your match
in this scent i am smelling now
so strong and hypnotizing
i smile so sweet like sugar inside

free free
what i long to be
from you coffee so i can
become

addicted
obsessed
like a dangerously insane
groupie is to a rockstar

who needs you now coffee?

when i've got something else
keeping me up all night.

(coffee's yumm...want some?)

Never developed a taste for coffee, but love its smell in the morning.

My mom says ‘If you can’t say anything nice then don’t say anything’. Sorry mom but under the guise of poetic license I penned these beauties.
