frosted leaves crackle the wind blows them free from the bounds of branches i watch them fall on me the night glows in darkness the only light to see from the heavy moon above comes daintily over me is it the sand beneath my toes makes me dance to the ocean's breeze loving the night when the lights went out the burdened world feels suddenly free
