i squint my eyes to free any tears that might've formed. in my mind i seek of the past hurts and future possibilities. i feel what is in my heart, that which is caged, burning, incessantly, clawing and driving me insane. you hurt me; but i can never show you. you never seem to see. so forgive me again, this bout of depressive rambling. i squint my eyes, forcefully, but i just can't see a flood of tears.
