i hear you as the wind breathes i see you in the shadows of the night i feel you as my blood rushes to my skin as water runs from my eyes. i think you know this i am close to say maybe repentant is never enough you make it seem the world's in peace at night though only asleep with troubled hearts. do you feel my confusion my endless stakes at your heavy door why not make me do as you please, you standing so still, so far, so cold?

He's not so still, so far, or so cold. You have only to let Him in, He stands at your door knocking. We were created in His image, so we have free choice to choose his way or the world's way.
This book represents a thirty-day period of my poetry journal. Each poem addresses
the dominant thoughts occupying my mind during the early morning hours of a given
day.
