for all of us, we seek to be geniuses,
striving to wear gigantic bifocal fronts hiding,
almost shameful, of our still guileless existence.
yes, how think ourselves the make of sophistication,
ravishing in our constant force to perfect evolution
and creation, which truly we have so far taken
no more, but corruptively for granted.
for our world is but a reflection of ourselves:
our needful bodies and hungry minds.
this is our time, when doubt and fear exist furtively,
so concealed behind our masqueraded faces
and lives, have we forgotten our purity?
our innocent perfection that existed without all
these discolored patches of insane and falsified necessities.
for truly, we indeed were beautiful as light is
transcendent and sophisticated, we were perfect.
only we are bound to pernicious exigencies;
nothing we can stop now, not with how fast we have gone.
Best regards,
Leland
