A book unlike any other

Love flows from its pages

from cover to cover


The Bible

Gives life to dying souls

As you read the scriptures

God's plan of salvation unfolds


The Bible

It is the truth written to man

Those who long to know its author

are given wisdom to understand


The Bible

Food for the hungry soul to feed

Water for the thirsty- A blessing

to those who take time to read

Patricia, Your poem about the Bible is a treasure!
I love these lines:
"The Bible
Food for the hungry soul to feed
Water for the thirsty- A blessing
to those who take time to read"
This poem overwhelms me. It's so truth on top of truth. Like gold on top of gold it just overflows. Very few poems I have read are of this caliber and quality.
