more summer haiku

sitting in my kitchen on my day off, listening to my girls and my husband outside while I did crossword puzzles....

the smell of cut grass
wafting in through the window
summer approaches


temperatures rising
turned on air conditioners
swim suit clad people


hear children playing
water games to help keep cool
no school till next fall

ahhh, yes..the sounds and sights of summer indeed!

you ought to come here to texas in the summer...not THAT's HOT! ICK!
