Today I sat at my computer and looked into it's face yes it has a face to me, perchance even a soul reaching out to touch it's picture and word filled face I found it warm to the touch bright and full of light
Today I sat at my computer and listen for it's voice I heard a soft hum, not unlike that of a cat's purr to it's kit's reaching out I touch the gray box and it too was warm even displaced a small light to let me know it was alive
Today I sat at my computer and took in the wonders of life in my small house with cat and two fish, puter let in the world a social being who had more contact with humanity then me I guess it is really not inanimate even if not a sentient being
Today I sat at my computer and wondered when it and I joined it being of pure logic and responding only to a numerical score me ruled my moods and whims and changing with the seasons a perfect pair of a new age symbiosis, it needing me, and me?

LOL...methinks you need to get out a bit more Cheryl. I work with computers everyday and never think of it becoming a part of me.
i love the computer i use at the library; and i use it all but one day of the week (thursdays; library is closed); i am always on the computer it seems! if i am not on the computer it's because a.) it's thursday, b.) i am at work, or c.) i am home or doing something else! LOL
