The term Ottoman,
Bounded all of thee,
Jew, Christian, Muslim,
Arab, Kurd, Caucaus, Turk,
European, Oriental, Asian,
All belonged in identity,
No matter what ethinic,
And linguistic group,
All belonged in identity,
All were accepted,
Respected,
For individuality,
A society,
Mixed in a "melting pot",
That today's EU would surely envy.
