Mom's Lessons
I learned from her to be strong
To work hard or nothing would be gained
Hold my head up be a lady with grace
Mom always had a joke to tell
A smile upon her face
Be kind to others she would say
What goes around comes back around
Will get you in the end
Live life with dignity
Always keep your pride
Strive to be the best you can be
At whatever job you do
Always be honest and true
You have to live by the choices you make
In everything you do!
Never tell a lie as they cannot be remembered
After a day or two!
Will someday come back on you!
I am my Mothers daughter
Learned my lessons well
She now holds a place in Heaven
Still keeping an eye on me
I live my life in such a way
I know she was proud of me
Mom taught me all the lessons
I passed on to children of mine
Say prayers at night thank the Lord above
For the many blessings each and everyday
Always remember to help a stranger along the way
I am my Mothers daughter
I was so proud to be!
When my time is over here
I know she will take my hand
Will be together again someday in Heavens promised land
Till then I will remember special memories
All the years we shared my Mother and me
Remembering especially all of Mom's lessons that she told me
In memory of Enid Seabrooke
