I feel so very sad today
A little frog is looking my way
I see him from my window above
Poor little frog so very cold
Sitting alone in the snow
He looks frozen what a sight
Like a popsicle what a fright
I want to bring him into my home
Then he will not be alone
He is green and has spots galore
My frog I will adore

Children playing outside
Snowmen look up to the white skies
Snowflakes kiss the frog outside my window
His heart is so alone
In his dreams he is falling in love
And the sun kisses his green little face
But spring and summer are so far away
Christmas time stand for our door
So I pick up this sweet little green froggie
And take him to my home sweet home
Now we drink our tea together
Eat cakes and apple pies
Outside my window we both watch now a sweet winter dream
Stars twinkle for us from above
They want to say to the frog and me good night
And we both fall in a deep sleep and hear the angels sing
