It's as if the universe were one incredible organism, which it is -
and we are all "star stuff" which we are. But I waste so many words in saying so dryly what you say so poetically.

The immensity of the heavens are always worth considering but I feel sad about the limitations of your situation but you have a great imagination to overcome it and surely it will guide you to a great life in the future.

This poem is profound and has so much depth! It's wonderful that Asa can find beauty and comfort in something which is seen on a nightly basis and taken for granted by many. It's special if one looks beyond the outer surface and can see the infinite beauty of the cosmos .Prison life can be hard and cruel at times. I'm glad he has the depth and perception to look beyond and let his soul touch the endless magnatude of heavenly spheres. Please keep sharing his poems with us. Simple...and at the same time so profound.

This poem takes me back to my birthplace. The stars, the moon, and God's elements brought peace to my soul as I spoke to them in the quiet of the evening.

Sometimes we have to be still to communicate with He who listens completely, caringly, and without judgment. Lot’s of us have been in a time and place when it seemed as though there was no one to listen... that’s when we must realize, a line is always open to the One you can always connect with; the One whose ears are all about us, even in the stars!
