The artist actually sketched an eye out of words!

Poem Artwork

“Woven Words”

When the sun has faded and all is mute

Dusk awakens the thoughts…

Ensnared within the mind

Observant sights from the day

When spilled onto the paper

Become woven words~

The translation conveys

A creative message born

From accumulative images~

To condense the images of a day into words is an exercise in futility because it would take so many words to do it justice. I never had a diary, but for those who do, they take perhaps, the high and low points of each day and jot them down so that later, when memory begins to fail, one can read with joy what one was doing in youth. Makes me wonder why I didn't have a diary, thinking it was something that only girls did.

Your poetry is superb and I envy the skill of the artist that drew such a perfect eye with just a pencil.

I like the phrase "woven words." Writers do weave words like a garment woven by hand.
