Reflections of the hindsight that is 20/20…

The profound depth of the mind is perplexing

Things and events from the past

Can be summed up better

When reflecting in hindsight

Situations and circumstances

Remain clear in the mind of the elderly

Albeit entering the mind randomly

From childhood play to life changing events

Joyous or sorrowful they come spilling out

And for the first time in your adult life

You see the mirrored images

If you sit quietly and listen closely

To the hindsight reflections

You gain a deeper understanding

Of where the pieces of the puzzle fit

While catching glimpses of the past…although not yours

The reflections belong to the woman…I call Mother~
