The ripples of time,
That dance in moonlight
Ebbing in the dark,
Between the moments
The sheltering cliffs,
Huddled and swathed
In mystical persuasions,
To remember forever
All the loves and all the lives,
That lingered here to listen
To those chanting songs,
When tides flow and recede
Always meeting the embrace,
Of the famished sands
For what else can there be,
In their endless thirst
And let me know,
Those moments when shadows fall
And those shores shine,
Where we knew such splendid harmony
