Written at the request of ' Bespoke Tours Ireland' to bring to the attention this inscribed ring recovered from the Wreck of the Spanish Armada ship 'Girona' Which must have been worn by a sailor and given with love from his sweetheart, and now at the Ulster Museum.
The ring found certainly spurs thoughts of romance even at a time of war. I'm sure the sailor was sorely missed by his love after the Armada went down to the bottom of the sea.
This collection of poetry addresses the nature of time, reflections on the natural world, the difficulty of loss,
contemporary social issues and gratitude for life.
A further collection of poems, many from years in the Middle East, but also the California San Francisco and Central Coast areas (Santa Cruz, Carmel, Big Sur, Berkeley, etc.).
