A love poem.

'Waiting  for you'

I was waiting for you,
Through the restless night
As the wind flew,
Along the wild ocean
 
How long I yearned,
For you to come
In the endless night,
As all the world slept
 
And I saw the wild ocean,
Of your eyes
And I heard a hymn singing,
The song of the sea

As I read, I felt there was something missing. The sailor come home. The sailor lost. Something more than just thoughts of color of the sea reminding one of the color of a lover's eyes.

The waves have up and downs and so does life. It it any wonder that most love stories tend to gravitate to the sea shore. Well done!
