A protest against greed and the money makers who don't care for humanity

'Income Distribution & Automation'

The robots won't protest,

The unequal distribution

The leveling down,

Of the human contribution

They won't die from manipulation,

Of stock markets and production

They won't even know,

They were created from corruption

The overseas slaves,

Will be replaced

With ghosts of themselves,

For products to glisten on shelves

But robots can't shop,

And robots can't buy

They don't purchase dreams,

They never die

How will it end,

As they pretend

That we'll be free,

Just to be

Doing better things,

Living on fresh air

As the world goes mad,

And we die of despair

Reviews of "'Income Distribution & Automation'"

I know you are from Australia and you are talking about, "Making America great again." You have poignantly pointed out the problem. The means of production have moved from high-paying labor to robots and machines, and soon, AI (artificial intelligence). As a result, money becomes more important than peoples' welfare. Yet there are so many wannabe millionaires, even billionaires who want to continue to rob the poor for the benefit of the rich. This only results in revolution. I only hope that the revolution will be a simple voting coup d'état rather than the other kind. People tend to like winners and make them leaders. The quality of their character be damned.

Haiku of a Wayward Sailor” encompasses both haiku and poems. Many of the haiku are based on my experiences at sea.

Robin Ouzman Hislop's poetry is certainly in dialogue with some of the key architects of the 'poetics of indeterminacy' – both the Modernist strands represented by the likes of Beckett and Stein, and the postmodernist strands represented, initially,
